Special Needs Dentistry Centre
Inclusive, adapted, compassionate dental care for every ability and need.
Dental care for people with special needs requires more than patience; it requires specific clinical skills, adapted environments, and a genuine commitment to inclusion. At Vats & Param, we have built our practice to be accessible, sensory-considerate, and clinically equipped to provide high-quality dental care to people with physical, intellectual, cognitive, and sensory disabilities, and those with complex behavioural needs.
“Every person deserves excellent dental care. Adapting how we deliver it is not optional for us; it is fundamental to who we are.”
What Does It Involve?
Our special needs dentistry is grounded in evidence-based behaviour guidance, communication adaptations, and a calm clinical environment. We take the time required for each individual to feel safe, understood, and in control of their experience. For people requiring pre-medication, sedation, or hospital-based dental care, we have established referral pathways to ensure that complex needs are met.
We work closely with caregivers, support workers, therapists, and family members, recognising that the best outcomes arise from collaborative care. Education and home care training for caregivers is a core part of what we provide, because consistent daily oral hygiene is the foundation of long-term oral health for everyone.

Three Principles Behind Every Appointment
Inclusion Without Exception
We do not place a lower ceiling on the quality of care available to people with disabilities. Every person receives our best.
Adapted, Not Compromised
Adapting how we work does not compromise what we achieve. Our clinical standards remain consistent; our delivery is tailored to the individual.
Caregiver as Partner
Good oral health for people with disabilities requires daily care at home. We educate and support caregivers as essential members of the clinical team.
The Doctors Behind Your Care
Your care is led by our senior clinicians, Dr. Srivats and Dr. Param, with over 50 years of combined clinical experience. Every finding is reviewed and explained personally; we do not delegate your understanding to anyone else.
