Endodontics & Root Canal Therapy
Saving teeth that might otherwise be lost to infection or trauma.
Root canal therapy has an undeserved reputation for being painful. In reality, a well-performed root canal removes the source of pain by removing the infected pulp, which allows a tooth that would otherwise need to be extracted to be retained for years or decades. Our Endodontics & Root Canal Therapy Centre uses microscopic magnification, advanced imaging, and refined technique to make this treatment as comfortable and precise as possible.
“Every tooth saved is a bridge not built, an implant not placed, and a restoration not needed. Saving teeth is always our first objective.”
What Does It Involve?
Root canal treatment involves the removal of infected or inflamed pulp tissue from inside the tooth, followed by thorough cleaning, shaping, and sealing of the root canal system. The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia and should be comfortable throughout. Post-treatment, the tooth is restored with a crown or other appropriate restoration to protect the treated root.
We offer microscopic endodontics as standard, using dental operating microscopes that provide up to 25x magnification. This allows us to identify and treat all canals, including those missed in previous treatments, with a precision not possible at naked-eye level. Re-root canal treatment and management of complex cases, including trauma and difficult anatomy, are within our scope.
5 Endodontic Services
Root Canal Treatment
Complete cleaning, shaping, and obturation of infected or inflamed root canal systems to save teeth affected by deep decay or bacterial infection.
Re-Root Canal Treatment
Retreatment of previously root-filled teeth where infection has persisted or recurred, including removal of previous materials and thorough re-preparation.
Microscopic Endodontics
Root canal procedures performed under high magnification using a dental operating microscope to identify all canals and ensure complete instrumentation.
Dental Infection Management
Diagnosis and management of acute dental abscesses and spreading infections, including drainage, antibiotic therapy, and definitive endodontic care.
Trauma-Related Endodontics
Assessment and management of teeth with pulp damage resulting from trauma, including luxation injuries, avulsions, and fractures involving the pulp.
Three Principles Behind Every Appointment
Save Before Replace
Our default position is always to save the natural tooth. Extraction is only recommended when saving the tooth is not in your long-term interest.
Precision Under Magnification
We use dental operating microscopes as standard. What others cannot see, they cannot treat. Microscopic endodontics raises success rates significantly.
Pain-Free Experience
Modern root canal treatment is not painful. Our protocol prioritises profound anaesthesia and patient comfort throughout every stage of the procedure.
The Doctors Behind Your Care
Your care is led by our senior clinicians, Dr. Srivats and Dr. Param, with over 50 years of combined clinical experience. Every finding is reviewed and explained personally; we do not delegate your understanding to anyone else.
