Bite, TMJ & Functional Dentistry
Where jaw mechanics, bite balance, and whole-body health converge.
Your bite is more than how your teeth meet. It is the foundation of your jaw, neck, posture, and sleep. When the bite is off balance, the consequences can range from tooth wear and jaw clicking to chronic headaches, neck pain, and disrupted sleep. Our Bite, TMJ & Functional Dentistry Centre is built to investigate and resolve these patterns at their root.
“Most people with chronic jaw pain, headaches, or tooth grinding have never been told their bite might be the source. That is where our work begins.”
What Does It Involve?
Functional dentistry requires a different kind of consultation. We do not simply look at your teeth; instead, we assess how your jaw moves, how your muscles function at rest and under load, how your bite forces are distributed, and how these patterns are connected to your symptoms and systemic health.
Our team uses detailed occlusal analysis, joint imaging, and muscle assessment to build a complete picture before recommending any treatment. Splints, bite adjustments, and rehabilitation are only prescribed when clinically indicated and fully explained.

Three Principles Behind Every Appointment
Function Before Aesthetics
We restore how your bite works before we address how it looks. A beautiful smile built on an unstable bite will not last.
Whole-Body Thinking
Jaw function connects to posture, breathing, and sleep. Our assessment integrates all these systems rather than treating the jaw in isolation.
No Guesswork
Every recommendation in this centre is based on measured evidence, not intuition. We test before we treat and monitor before we conclude.
The Doctors Behind Your Care
Your care is led by our senior clinicians, Dr. Srivats and Dr. Param, with over 50 years of combined clinical experience. Every finding is reviewed and explained personally; we do not delegate your understanding to anyone else.
